This week was not AEW's best work. Homecoming was meant to be a thank you note for the Jacksonville faithful. The show featured the return of WCW and Lucha legend Juventud Guerrera taking on Chris Jericho in the 3rd labor of Jericho. The main event saw the in ring debut of Malakai Black as he took on Cody Rhodes. Besides these two matches the rest of the show failed to live up to the calibre we've gotten used to this summer. Awkward story progression and weak performances in segments really stalled out most of the storylines featured on this episode. We also take a look at a couple recent releases from the vanilla brand and the potential of one of the hottest free agents soon to be available after this month's Summer Slam weekend. All this and more, this week, on IWP. Enjoy the show!
Hey guys, sorry we are late this week. Technical difficulties led to the recording last night being scrapped and us re recording this afternoon. It has led us to make a tough decision. With our Spotify numbers being what they are, and the YouTube numbers not quite matching up. We are cutting the YouTube version of the show. Our main focus will be on audio quality instead of looking pretty for the cameras. With that out of the way, this weeks show is pack with great discussions on Thunder Rosa's future after losing the NWA Women's World Championship. Who won between Cutler and Avalon? Who is advancing in the World Title Eliminator Tournament? As well as Serena Deeb's first title defense of the NWA Women's World Championship on Dynamite. Enjoy the show!!!
