Episode 76: hoMecoming

This week was not AEW's best work. Homecoming was meant to be a thank you note for the Jacksonville faithful. The show featured the return of WCW and Lucha legend Juventud Guerrera taking on Chris Jericho in the 3rd labor of Jericho. The main event saw the in ring debut of Malakai Black as he took on Cody Rhodes. Besides these two matches the rest of the show failed to live up to the calibre we've gotten used to this summer.  Awkward story progression and weak performances in segments really stalled out most of the storylines featured on this episode. We also take a look at a couple recent releases from the vanilla brand and the potential of one of the hottest free agents soon to be available after this month's Summer Slam weekend.   Hey everyone, great episode on tap for you this week. It's been a while since we have broken the 2 hour mark. But when we have two weeks of news, a PPV review and a full episode of Dynamite...it's tough to contain. Double or Nothing 2021 was an extremely fun show to watch, but some booking choices have us criticizing the AEW brass. Another Friday Night Dynamite had the potential to redeem the mistakes DoN made, however, it seems they failed there as well. It's one of those shows this week from us at IWP. Episode 39: Return of the Bastard

Hey guys, great episodes of Dynamite lead to great episodes of IWP.  With the fall out of Full Gear looming, this weeks Dynamite exceeded the expectations that Damien and I may of had going into the most recent PPV.  We are covering the Bunkhouse Match between Butcher & Blade vs Natural Nightmares, Spears vs Sky, and a main event for the ages.  Also on tap, we covered the AEW Games announcement seen on YouTube Tuesday night.  As well as the recent release coming from the Vanilla Brand.  All this and more on this weeks episode of The Impromptu Wrestling Podcast. Episode 49: This Is What Hell Looks Like

  Hey guys, great episode on tap this week.  After a rough review of last weeks Dynamite, AEW bounces back with a solid show this week.  Great match ups between Eddie Kingston and Lance Archer, Jungle boy vs Dax Harwood, and an 8-man tag for the record books.  Yes! You heard that right. An amazing 8-man tag match for the main event blew us away as Young Bucks reunite with the Good Brothers to take on the Dark Order.  We also take a look at the winners from the first ever B/R Live AEW Awards.  Who took home LOL Moment of the year, Biggest Beatdown, and Breakout Stars male and female?  All this and more in this weeks Impromptu Wrestling Podcast.
